Automation and Industry 4.0

The concept of Industry 4.0 emerged in Germany around 2010 as a government strategy to define the direction of industrial policies in the country. The objective was to use technological solutions to increase the competitiveness of German industries on the world stage. This concept was distributed and expanded worldwide, where it became known as the 4th. Industrial Revolution.

The concept of Industry 4.0 defines 6 stages of evolution and maturity: Digitalization, Connectivity, Visibility, Transparency, Predictive Capacity and Adaptability. The first 2 are from the so-called industry 3.0 and most companies in Brazil are exactly at this level.

At uDEV, we offer turn-key projects to provide all the necessary technological basis for digitalization, visibility and transparency in various industry processes.
